I haven't loaded the shots I took without the lens hood into lightroom yet, but from what I was seeing on my LCD screen, the shots look great! I also noticed the camera was shooting a lot faster and, without the hood making the camera bigger, it was more stealthy, less noticeable on the streets. I really don't like the idea of not having a hood on because it guards the lens and it will do its job occasionally blocking out the sun, but the performance of the x100s without the hood is amazing and I'm gonna keep shooting that way with it. My lens will be fine!

Today I'm doing something I've never done. I'm taking out the Fujifilm x100s without the lens hood on it. When I took out the Contax T2 I got some shots with some amazing light effects. Now I wanna see how the x100s will look without the good on. Cherrio!
